Title: “Vietnam, Cambodia, Lao – Designing your own adventure in three fascinating countries in Southeast Asia”
Presentation in Polish and in English
It offers you a good orientation of how to venture deep into the heart of the three amazing countries in South East Asia – Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
How to enjoy the busy city life and tasty foods in the streets in Hanoi or Saigon? Is it worth to take Mekong river cruise? Where to buy the hand-made lanterns in the ancient town Hoian? How to explore the lime karsts jutting out of the green waters in Halong Bay? Better to admire the splendid temples in Angkor in the sunrise or in the sunset? How to follow the foot-steps of archaeologist-adventurer Lara Croft (Tom Rider) in Ta Prohm with the trees growing out of the ruins? How big are the fishes in Tonle Sap? What should be seen in Vientiane and Luang Prabang? Is it interesting to swim in the crystal-clear waters in Kuang Si Waterfall?
The speaker Kim Nhu-Tarnawska is a professor of Physics, responsible for the Nanostructure Laboratory, Institute of Physics, Pedagogical University of Cracow, working in the files of Materials Science and Nanoscience.
